This Chardonnay was entirely sourced from estate vineyards in the Ribbon Ridge AVA and was aged for 18 months in French oak prior to bottling. The aromas are quite enticing, with bright pear and green apple nuances that collide with shades of peat moss and wet stone on this polished nose. Showing a lovely silky texture, with an oily quality on the palate, flavors of lemon cream and clove flavors mingle with minerals and a touch of baked apple. Delightful now, this should also evolve nicely over the next decade.
