SOTER Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge ‘Origin’ 2019

Presenting a medium to dark ruby core with a purple rim, the 2019 Ribbon Ridge Origin is organically and dry farmed and is aged for 10 months in about 30% new French oak barrels. Starting off with notes of wet pine forest, fresh black cherry, spiced red plum, cedary herbs, chocolate-covered acai berries, and black tea leaf, this densly packed but lively Pinot Noir sports crunchy tannins that will need a few years to settle down in the bottle and a spine of perfect acidity. Better in 2023. About 400 cases produced.
