Another stunner of a wine from the team at Domaine Divio, the 2021 Louis Estate is stunning in every way. Starting off with a nose of black cherry, spiced plum, forest fruits, potpourri, crushed white peppercorn, and wet earth, it’s a treat to experience. Unbelievably balanced, coherent, and ready to drink, considering this is a new-release 2021, the palate explodes with fruit, earth, and spice. In a blind I would probably call it a Premier-Cru Burgundy, even though it may be slightly too fruit-foward for that designation. Highly recommended and editors choice.
