A full and robust Pinot Noir from the De Villiers Vineyard of Mt Harlan, this Calera Pinot Noir rests 17 months in French oak barrels, with 30% of the barrels being new. A penetrating nose of fresh red plums, Dendrobium orchid, cranberries and toasty sage fill the glass. On the palate, welcome flavors of fresh blueberries, red plums, savory baking spices, toasted anise and tilled earth. The tannis, fruit and acid are perfectly balanced in this gorgeous Pinot Noir. Highly Recommended.
