Quilceda Creek is one of the most historic and recoginized estates in all of Washington, they have earned this reputation for their incredible pedigree of producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon for decades. We recently had the rare opportunity to intimately taste a special vertical of 15 vintages of their Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, ranging from 2004 all they the up to the soon to be released 2018 vintage. The wines were a fantastic example of the highest quality fruit and craftmanship, with each wine showing its own wonderful unique character.

Looking back at the wines from this tasting, there are a few words that continually come to mind; ripe, seamless, structured, concentrated, pure, fresh, complex and simply delicious. All the wines showed incredibally well and certainly lived up to, and exceeded their esteemed reputation of being not only some of the finest examples of Cabernet Sauvignon in Washington State, but in the world.
