The 2012 Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay is another impressive showing from David Ramey. As this begins to open, gorgeous aromas of ripe pear and lemon which are layered with vanilla blossom, honey, crushed almond and flinty notes. It possesses a gorgeous rich, oily texture, with lovely balance and complexity. It continues to impress with wonderful length leaving behind traces of mineral and orchard fruits.
