The 2009 Nestri is a fresh, clean blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It offers aromas of cherry, plum, floral, spice and a hint of herbs and anise. This is well balanced, supported by silky, yet firm tannins and pretty finish. An excellent effort by Damiano and his father Paolo with their entry bottling in 2009.
