The 2012 Pierre Gannon Saint-Joseph Blanc ‘Les Oliviers’ is an outstanding wine, impressive for its complexity and gorgeous round texture. There are wonderful aromas of pear, crushed almonds, herbs chamomile and floral which come together beautifully in the glass. This needs a bit more time to flesh out and put on some weight, but there is a lot to look forward to with this fantastic blend of Marsanne and Roussanne. (Best 2015-2025) - April, 2014 (JD)
