Composed of 65% Cabernet Franc and 35% Merlot this instantly begins to impress with its tantalizing aromas of red currants, dark cherries, sweet spices, brown sugar, violets, graphite, dried sage, dusty minerals and subtle licorice nuances. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous full body with beautifully polished tannins, as well as outstanding depth and concentration. It continues to impress with its incredible balance and purity, along with a plush core, laced with delicious ripe fruit and spice nuances that persist through the finish. Supple and mouthwatering, this is utterly captivating red shows just enough restraint, and while already fantastic in its youth it should also go on to have a brilliant future.
