2017 is the first vintage that Sinegal produced a Pinot Noir, and it is absolutely sensational. Sourced from the Spring Hill Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast, this stunning Pinot Noir is made from five clones including; 667, 777, 115, Calera, Pommard. It immediately bursts open to pretty aromas of raspberries and strawberries woven together with spices, orange zest, rose petals, dried herbs and hints of earthy minerals all taking shape. On the palate this is beautifully structured with silky tannins and gorgeous overall precision and clarity. It remains fresh and balanced with wonderful acidity all the way through the mouthwatering finish. A fabulous wine from the team at Sinegal which is already showing wonderful character but should also age gracefully for years to come.
