The 2018 'Annia' is yet another sensational wine from Massican. It is composed of a blend consisting of 46% Tocai Friulano, from Nichelini Vineyard (planted in 1946), 41% Ribolla Gialla from Vare Vineyard (planted in 2000) and 11% Chardonnay from Hyde vineyard (planted in 1992). This gorgeous white offers a beautifully perfumed nose, with aromas of ripe apple, pear, stone fruits, tropical fruits, with hints of honey, citrus, and dried flowers. On the palate this is round and inviting, with a fantastic mouthfeel and fantastic precision from start to finish. An absolutely delicious wine that is drinking incredibly well right now and readers should not hesitate at the chance to taste this fabulous Friulian-inspired wine from winemaker Dan Petroski
