Nagual de la Naga is a beautiful blend of 70% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Aglianico and 10% Sagrantino from the Eliphante Blocks, located outside of Cornville, AZ. The wine itself opens to pretty aromatics of ripe black plums, leather, dark berries, smoke and exotic spices that all take shape. It possesses a medium-plus body with soft, round tannins and plush fruits that lead into the delicious, mouth coating finish. Very approachable today, and should continue to drink nicely over the next 5-7 years.
