The 2017 Harbison Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a total beauty from Bevan. The most balanced and elegant wine in the lineup, this begins with incredible fresh inviting aromatics of red berries and blackcurrants which are laced with spring florals, lavender, minerals and dried herbs, with underlying hints of black olives and light spice notes adding another level of complexity. On the palate this is full-bodied and beautifully concentrated, with remarkable over balance and poise. It shows a gorgeous fresh character, with a beautifully layered mouthfeel that glides effortlessly into the long, graceful finish. Simply put, this is a an absolutely gorgeous wine that is absolutely striking in its youth, but should also age incredibly well for many years to come.
