The 2017 'Grand Picot' Sancerre from Pierre Cherrier displays a lovely pale color as well as fresh, clean aromatics of gooseberries, grapefruit and exotic fruits that are laced with a lovely mineral character. The palate is fresh, vibrant and bursting with racy acidity, while remaining beautifully balanced throughout. Overall, this is a gorgeous Sancerre that is drinking beautifully today, nut should also evolve over time.
