The 2017 Coltifredi Chianti Classico opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries, spices, leather and licorice that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this possesses a lovely refined silky texture and not able overall balance and it makes a seamless transition into the velvety finish. Overall this is wonderful Chianti Classico, and will certainly be approachable upon release.
