The 2017 Durell Vineyard Chardonnay shows off a beautiful aromatics profile,offering nuanes of lemon cream, quince, Asian pear, starfruit and white flowers which all develop beautifully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, with incredible precision, focus and overall balance. There are gorgeous flavors of citrus peel and orchard fruits, which are framed by lovely minerality that persists through the long, textured finish. Simply put, this is an absolutely beautiful Chardonnay that should go on to offer a drinking window that spans at least decade.
