The 2018 Windsor Oaks Vineyard Sangiovese from Reeve Wiines begins with fresh and inviting aromas of wild strawberries, dried cherries and red berries that come together with hints of licorice, fresh flowers, and savory herbs. On the palate this is impressive, as it offers a lovely elegant texture, with silky tannins that glide effortlessly into the silky finish. Overall this is a lovely Sangiovese that should drink nicely upon release or with some short-term cellaring.
