The 2015 Poggio Stella Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 'Riserva' opens to invoting aromatics of red berries, florals, spices and leather which are accented with hints of licorice and toasted oak adding further complexity. On the palate this is medium to full-bodied and structured with a soft and velvety texture and lovely overall balance throughout the finish. This is drinking beautifully today, but should also evolve over the course of the next decade.
