The 2017 Bien Nacido Chardonnay from Au Bon Climat is simply spectacular. The bouquet is very aromatic, showing nuances of Meyer lemon curd, lime, honey covered pear, crushed limestone, buttered almond, white flowers, and gun flint. On the palate this is beautifully textured and balanced with flavors of gorgeous orchard fruits, along with honey, fresh minerality and citrus cream. The finish is mouthwatering and delicious.
