WESTWOOD Pinot Noir, Annadel Gap Vineyard 'Clone 667' 2017

The 2017 Clone 667 Pinot Noir from Westwood, is fantastic. This opens and shows off a range of dark cherry, strawberries, currant, and pomegranate, with secondary layers of sandalwood, dried spice, and dark soil. This is a very smooth and elegant Pinot that caresses the palate with delicious red fruit, berries, and some citrus on the finish. While this is impressive now it should improve with bottle age over the next 7-10 years.
