A PInot Noir that is aged 14 months in French oak barrels, this delectable Pinot Noir is a keeper and everything you love about well-made Pinots from Oregon. In the glass, think of aromas of macerated blackberry, earl gray tea, black cherry, tobacco leaf and fresh purple flower petals. The palate is complex and has layers of fresh marionberry, huckleberry, wild rosemary, a hint of freshly ground baking spices, graphite and a touch of new leather. Tannins are medium plus, acidity is medium and the finish is lengthy. Needs a few more years in bottle before it’s ready so be patient.
