The 2018 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay is absolutely brilliant. This Chardonnay is composed from "Old Wente" and Calera selections which are sourced from vines 27 to 39 years old. It instantly begins to impress with its gorgeous yellow/golden color and stunning aromas of sweet Meyer lemon, Asian pear, vanilla blossoms, flint, dried sweet spices and hints of toast that all come together beautifully. On the palate this is bright and vivid, displaying striking overall balance. Delicious flavors of sweet Meyer lemon, Asian pear and white flower blossoms burst from its core and expand through the vibrant finish. This is a simply riveting bottle of Chardonnay that is showing incredible today, but should also offer years of drinking pleasure ahead.
