The 2017 Cannubi Barolo from Giacomo Fenocchio is simply beautiful. It begins with delicate nuances of dried strawberries and cherries come together with floral, mint, citrus rind and crushed stones that all come together gracefully in the glass. On the palate this is elegant, refined and structured around ultra-fine tannins. It continues to impress as it demonstrates excellent precision and focus through the graceful finish. Overall, all this is an absolutely beautifully made Barolo which should go on to have a wonderful future ahead.
