The 2018 Durell Vineyard Chardonnay is a superb effort from Kistler in 2018. It instantly begins with intense aromatics orchard fruits, Meyer lemon, lime, and stone fruits along with intense mineral notes, spring flowers, crushed stones, sea spray and toasted brioche nuances that emerge from the glass. On the palate this incredibly focused, with remarkable depth, as layers of delicious flavors expand through the long mineral driven finish. This is simply outstanding today and will flourish for years to come.
