Brilliant Mistake arrived on the Napa scene a few years ago, and they have not looked back since, as they have quicky risen to the top of the list when it comes to premium Napa Valley Cabernet. This should come at no suprise, as the wines have been nothing short of incredible to date and seem to be getting better with each vintage. The 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet Savignon instanly impresses with its gorgeous aromas of ripe black currants and cassis which are woven together with graphite, violets, dark chocolate, gravel and hints of dried loamy nuances that all burst from the glass. The palate is full-bodied, beautifully polished and seamless, as it delivers flavors of dark fruits and graphite through the long supple finish that leaves you wanting more. Proprietors, John and Stacy Rienert along with winemaker Maayan Koschitzky have once again released a spectacular wine that is already an absolute knockout at this early stage and should continue to drink beautifully for many years to come.
