The 2019 Las Madres Vineyard 'Whole Cluster' Syrah displays a deep garnet-purple color, with a wonderfully expressive nose of warm blackberries, dark cherries, dried violets, spices, earth, black olives and crushed stones all taking shape. The palate is medium to full-bodied, layered and beautifully balanced with fresh acidity framing the flavors of red and black berries and dried exotic spices, leading up to the long and fragrant finish. A wonderful Syrah to approach early on, or watch evolve over the next decade.
