The 2019 Sangiacomo Vineyard Syrah bursts open with inviting arommatics of black raspberries, plums and dark cherries woven together with sweet spices, florals, pepper and hints of black olive. On the palate this is just as impressive, as it possesses a gorgeous texture with beautiful round tannins and remarkable overall balance. It glides effortlessly across the palate into the long seamless finish. This is another fantastic Syrah from Mike Smith that is delicious now, but also appears it will have nice evolution in store.
