The 2019 Napa Valley 'Perennius' Cabernet Sauvignon is a drop-dead stunning release from Boich Cellars. It begins with incredibly perfumed aromatics of ripe blackberries, blueberries and boysenberries, which are joined together with spices, graphite, dried sage and mocha nuances that all develop in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with a gorgeous round, voluptuous texture supported by well-integrated, nicely polished tannins that provide excellent structure. It continues to impress with its remarkable overall depth and concentration as beautiful ripe fruits continue to build and show stunning length on the finish. While this is already completely captivating in its youth, it also has the stuff to age gracefully for decades to come. The 2019 is total knockout and the highlight of this amazing lineup from Boich Cellars.
