The 2019 Crossbarn Cabernet begins with expressive aromas of dark currants and black cherries which are laced with graphite, dried earth, spices, florals and a sweet toasted oak oak character all developing in the glass. On the palate this possesses wonderful full-bodied richness, with a gorgeous texture backed by layers of delicious ripe dark fruit that expand through the finish. While this Cabernet is a pleasure to approach early on, it also displays the potential to age beautifully for at least a decade.
