The 2019 Ribera del Duero Resreva is outstanding. It instantly impresses as it aromas of fresh blackberries, dark cherry, vanilla, toasted oak, licorice, violets and hints of spicy cedar. On the palate this displays notable concentration and a textured mouthfeel supported by sleek tannins that frame the dark juicy fruits which persist through the long chewy finish. Excellent today, but should become even more compelling as it softens with some additional bottle age.
