Kistler's fantastic Cuvee Natalie from the Silver Belt Vineyard in The Russian River Valley is a knockout in 2019. The wine instantly begins to impress with its incredibly expressive aromas of ripe red berries, black cherries and strawberries and pomegranate along with wild herbs, blood orange, sandalwood and hints of sweet spice which all come together and burst from the glass. On the palate this possesses a fabulous medium-full body that is structured with gorgeous round polished tannins which give way to flavors of ripe currants, red berries and sweet spices that resonate through the wine. This has amazing purity with a wonderful sense of elegance. It is really well balanced and utterly seamless all the way though the supple, mouthwatering finish. Overall this is a sensational wine that is drinking incredibly well today, however it should also age gracefully for years to come.
