Kistler's 2019 Hudson Vineyard Chardonnay is a knockout in this vintage. It opens with seductive aromas of lemon peel, tangerine, pineapple, toasted almonds, and white flowers. There are secondary notes of crushed seashells, gunflint, fresh minerals and a touch of honey. On the palate this is round and delicious with lots of salinity, citrus, wet stone, and orchard fruit flavors. The finish is long with lots of minerality and a burst of acidity. This is fantastic today and will age gracefully for over a decade.
