The Beckstoffer GIII ‘Empyrean’ Cabernet is another utterly stellar release from myriad. It is extremely expressive as it opens to seductive aromatics of ripe blueberries, and blackberries woven together with sweet spices, graphite, florals, along with hints of mint, loam and dusty gravel. This continues to impress on the palate where it delivers layers of ripe dark and blue fruits that are joined by dark chocolate and spices that linger through the long, enveloping finish. Simply remarkable now, but will last decades..
