The 2018 Lazzeretti Brunello di Montalcino opens to aromas of dark cherries and blackberries along with spices, leather, earth, florals and minerals which are beautifully layered in the glass. On the palate this offers a medium+ body that is vivid and shows notable depth and structure, continuing to impress with its gorgeous velvety texture all the way through the finish. Today, the wine is quite accessible and should go on to offer a drinking window that spans at least a decade.
