The 2020 'Southing' Pinot Noir is another absolute beauty from Sea Smoke. It opens with wonderful aromas of wild blackberries with secondary notes of sweet spices, fresh herbs and floral nuances all developing as it unwinds. On the palate this is medium-bodied and beautifully textured, with complex flavors, of dark fruits, earthy minerals and spices. It displays lovely finesse and balance all the way through the velvety finish. This is will certainly accessible in its youth, but also possesses the potential to evolve gracefully.
