The 2020 Alto Moncayo begins with aromatics of raspberries and dark plums which come together with chocolate, florals, toasted oak and spices that all burst from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and polished with a lovely velvety mouthfeel. The finish is long and velvety, marked by flavors of dark/red fruits, toasted oak and spices. While this is drinking beautifully right now, it should also continue to evolve over the next few years.
