The 2021 Lerner Project Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a mind-bending wine that is nothing short of utterly brilliant. It impresses with its bold aromatic profile of ripe blackcurrants and blueberries, which are accented by graphite, mint and loads of dark floral nuances all coming together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied, concentrated and well-structured with a wonderful rich, layered texture that makes it extremely appealing. It goes on to display wonderful concentration and depth, with layers of beautifully ripe dark fruits that are laced with violets and crushed gravel characteristics that weave their way through the long, polished finish. Simply put, the 2021Reserve is a fantastic wine that is a treat to drink today, but will also have a long, promising future ahead.
