The 2021 Project 18 is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon along with some Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. It begins with gorgeous aromatics of ripe currants, dark cherries and cassis, that are accented by violets, mint, exotic spices, loam and hints of licorice that all explode from the glass. The palate is every bit as impressive, as it offers a wonderful full-bodied texture, that is fresh, expressive and layered with beautifully ripe dark fruits. It continues to impress with its outstanding overall structure that leads up to the polished finish. This is an absolutely fantastic wine, that should be accessible on release, however it will also have an extremely bright future ahead.
