The 2019 Seña celebrates 25 Años, and it composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Malbec, 15% Carmenere, 4% Petit Verdot. It begins with inviting aromatics of cassis, fresh blackberries and bing cherries that are woven together with sweet spices, dried florals and fresh herbs all soaring from the glass. On the palate this is beautifully refined, with a medium body and a gorgeous silky mouthfeel, framed by fine-grained tannins. It displays wonderful definition, clarity and balance, with lovely sense of freshness from the underlying acidity that continues to persist through the finish. Elegant and classy, this is an absolutely fantastic wine which is already showing tons of appeal, however the best is likely yet to come as should also age gracefully for years to come.
