Resting for 15 months in 40% new French oak barrels, the 2019 Fort Ross displays a glimmering light ruby core with a silvery rim. Bountiful notes of fresh red raspberries, blue plum skin, black tea leaves, purple roses, powdered graphite, Blood orange, and forest breeze are all present and wonderfully combined. The acid is on point and balances well with the sweet tannins, the medium-bodied mouthfeel, and the mouthwatering finish. Just 384 cases produced.
