Brilliant Mistake's Sauvignon Blanc is fantastic in 2022. This is centrally more expressive and open then in years past. Notes of candied green apple, gooseberry, pineapple curd, passion fruit and grapefruits jump from the glass. There are secondary aromas of white nectarine, lychee, green herbs and crushed stone that complete the bouquet. As far as Sauvignon Blanc's go, this is on the full-bodied side with ripe fruits and a bold texture, that is coupled with bright acidity and citrus flavors on the backend. A downright delicious white that needs air contact to get to it's full expression, and can be enjoyed over the next few years.
