The Cabernet Franc coming from the Conner Lee Vineyard sits on pure sandy soils, which gives the wine some lovely minerality and structure. Aged in 60% new French oak, it delivers a shimmering dark purple core with a neon pink rim in the glass. It explodes with phenomenal notes of sliced black plum, boysenberry, toasted green peppercorn, fresh mint, dried thyme, and potpourri. Tannins are grippy and needs a year or two to settle down, but the elevated acidity helps balance everything out. Better in 2024. Just 145 cases made. Highly recommended.
