With a dark plum-ruby colored core with a light purple rim in the glass, the 2021 Cinematique Syrah was aged for 19 months in 40% new French oak barrels. Boasting complex and interesting aromas of fresh violet flowers, crushed herbs, roasted game, graham crackers, blueberries, black plum, and shades of olive brine and lemon pepper, it is a wine you will want to revisit over a few hours as it constantly develops and changes. A gorgeous palate that is fruit-forward but still earthy on the finish, it finishes with perfected levels of acidity, rounded, smooth tannins, and a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. Highly recommended.
