The 2021 Nickel & Nickel John C. Sullenger Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is an absolutely beautiful showing. It opens to wonderful aromas of blackcurrants and dark berries which are laced with nuances of spices, herbs, tobacco leaf as well as shades of earthy tones which all come together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous medium-full body, with a nicely structured frame supported by well-polished tannins. It goes on to display excellent depth and concentration with outstanding overall balance all the way through the long, graceful finish. While this is already absolutely fantastic however it also has the potential to thrive in the cellar and become even more impressive over the course of the next decade and even beyond.
