The 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet from Turnbull is fantastic. It opens to perfumed aromatics of dark cherries and plums which are woven together with fresh cut flowers, toasted spices, tobacco and hints of dusted cocoa nuances all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is continues to impress with its gorgeous velvety texture and beautifully polished, nicely integrated tannins, which lead up to the long finish. This certainly has the potential to evolve for a decade or longer, however it is already quite appealing in its youth.
