The 2021 'Peak' Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Edcora and Attelas Vineyard. It is a fantastic showing that offers inviting aromatics of black raspberries, cassis and plums, which are woven together with cedar box, tobacco, fresh violets, coffee and underlying spice nuances all developing beautifully in the glass. On the palate this possesses a lovely full body that is well structured and balanced. It goes on to display excellent overall concentration with a layered core of beautiful dark betty fruit and sweet spices that cascade onto the long finish. This is expressive and delicious today, however this should have no issues offering a multi-decade long drinking window.
