60% whole cluster was used during fermentation on the 2022 Terraces Pinot Noir by Melville and then it rested for 18 months in all neutral oak barrels. The whole cluster gives it some wonderful dried herb notes on the nose alongside plenty of Bing cherry, red currant, red licorice, white tea, rose petals, and crushed gravel notes. It’s medium-bodied with a beautiful consistency, seamless mouthfeel, brilliant acidity, and a gorgeous finish. About 550 cases were made. Highly recommended.
