The 2013 'Im Weingebirg' Grüner Veltliner from Nikolaihof is very aromatic and classic in style. This Riesling displays aromas of kaffir lime, white peach, lychee, apricot, tart apple, tropical fruit, white pepper and flinty mineral, which all come together beautifully. It shows wonderful purity and focus, with a solid core of citrus, herbal notes and tropical fruit which resonate on the bright finish, where it demonstrates gorgeous acidity, percision and length. This is very accessible now and should be enjoyed over the next 5-7 years. (Best 2015-2022) - March, 2015 (MD)
