The 2015 Matthews Sauvignon Blanc is a stellar effort from a vintage that saw severe heat spikes. This has a melange of aromas including kiwi, white flowers, unripe pear and jasmine. There are flavors of Gala apple, kiwi, orange blossom and minerals with a long finish. This is a gorgeous summer sipper. The 2015 Matthews Sav Blanc represents some very impressive winemaking from a super hot vintage which made acid levels difficult to manage. (Best 2016-2020) - April, 2016 (OB)
