The 2013 'The Deal' Syrah by K Vintners is a gorgeous effort from this warm vintage. Sourced from the Sundance Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope, this translucent Syrah begins with aromatics of pipe tobacco, spicebox, red cherry and anise. There are rich flavors of black cherry, anise, black raspberry and suggestions of teaberry. Polished and light on its feet, this is delicious right now. (Best 2016-2024) - October, 2016 (OB)
